I shall now turn your attention to an emerging subgenre known as cozy horror. If you’re an avid reader, you’ve probably familiarized yourself at one point or another with cozy mystery and cozy fantasy. These are characterized as light reads with low intensity. Something you can get cozy with and relax. Cozy horror is generally less gory, more fun than they are terrifying, and with low-stakes. I’ve come to love the subgenre myself.
